VERS SAINTE LUCIE DE TALLANO

Vers Sainte-Lucie de Talano est une bougie parfumée en édition limitée, inspirée de la Corse et de la force aromatique de son maquis après la pluie.

Une création fraîche et solaire, où les herbes sauvages, les notes boisées et résineuses composent une ambiance vivifiante et profondément méditerranéenne.

« La pluie d’orage a cessé et les gros nuages s’écartent miraculeusement sur un ciel d’azur.  Le flanc de la montagne corse s’illumine à nouveau jusque en haut, sur le village tout en ocres.      Nous avons repris notre marche dans le sentier. La végétation encore humide exhale un peu plus ses parfums rugueux et coriaces! L’odeur camphrée et fraiche de l’armoise se mêle à la délicatesse du lavandin… Les cigales se sont remises à chanter. Nous nous arrêtons pour prendre quelques branches de romarin aux senteurs de résine de pins. Elles font penser à des bonbons! Nous complétons notre bouquet aromatique avec des branches poivrées de lavandin, puis de thym à l’odeur vive et ensoleillée! Tout ici, est parfum : l’odeur du maquis corse, vertes, boisées et épicées. Ce maquis qui respire et chante sous le soleil… »

AROMATIC, WOODY, FRESH: LAVANDIN - MUGWORT - ROSEMARY - THYME - CEDAR

Each of our HAROLD & MAUDE candles is made from natural 100% waxes. No mineral wax, so no paraffin derived from petroleum. The fragrances we use are all guaranteed free of CMR substances and phthalates.

When you use it for the first time, after cutting the wick (about 5 mm), let the candle burn until the entire surface has become liquid! Because of the size of the candle, this may take around 4 hours (allow for this). This step will prevent the wax from hollowing out and forming a permanent crater around the wick.

It may happen that the wax does not melt completely around one edge of your candle (our candles are poured and the wicks placed one by one, by hand, and are therefore never centred to the millimetre). In this case, just before extinguishing the candle, gently use the tip of a knife to lift and slide this little crescent of soft wax into the liquid wax.

Use your HAROLD & MAUDE candle with care! After firing, each of the ceramic pots has been given a matt, unglazed top coat. This beautiful velvety finish may be susceptible to small scratches if handled incorrectly. 

For rooms larger than 40m2, we recommend you burn 2 candles of the same fragrance, well apart from each other, for better fragrance diffusion.

Before each lighting, cut the wick so that it does not exceed 5 millimetres. Use a special candle wick cutter to avoid scratching the ceramic. 

Use a snuffer to extinguish it, to avoid black smoke and the wick drowning. If necessary, gently re-centre the wick with the side of your wick cutter or the tip of a knife while the wax is still soft.

Place your HAROLD & MAUDE candle on a flat surface and do not leave it unattended. Avoid draughts.
