A kiss on your mango-flavoured lips est une bougie parfumée en édition limitée, inspirée d’un instant suspendu sous le soleil de l’été. « Nous avions tellement marché dans les rues de Venise, sous la chaleur de juillet, tout semblait suspendu.de juillet ! Nous nous sommes installés sur la terrasse de la célèbre GELATERIA NICO, tout près de la place Saint-Marc.  Tu riais en commandant une énorme coupe de glace à la mangue et à la goyave!  Tu étais assise là, tout à côté de moi. Je ne cessais de regarder ton joli visage hâlé à l’ombre du parasol. Tu ne parlais plus, tu dégustais chaque cuillère de glace et tu souriais en me regardant à ton tour. Je frissonnais de tant te chérir! Tu le sentis peut-être lorsque tu t’approchas plus de moi, et que tu déposas un long baiser sur ma bouche. J’ai d’abord senti ton souffle, puis le goût sucré et parfumé de tes lèvres encore imprégnées des parfums presque vanillés de la mangue.  La tête sur mon épaule tu me chuchotas quelques mots doux… »

Each of our HAROLD & MAUDE candles is made from natural 100% waxes. No mineral wax, so no paraffin derived from petroleum. The fragrances we use are all guaranteed free of CMR substances and phthalates.

When you use it for the first time, after cutting the wick (about 5 mm), let the candle burn until the entire surface has become liquid! Because of the size of the candle, this may take around 4 hours (allow for this). This step will prevent the wax from hollowing out and forming a permanent crater around the wick.

It may happen that the wax does not melt completely around one edge of your candle (our candles are poured and the wicks placed one by one, by hand, and are therefore never centred to the millimetre). In this case, just before extinguishing the candle, gently use the tip of a knife to lift and slide this little crescent of soft wax into the liquid wax.

Use your HAROLD & MAUDE candle with care! After firing, each of the ceramic pots has been given a matt, unglazed top coat. This beautiful velvety finish may be susceptible to small scratches if handled incorrectly. 

For rooms larger than 40m2, we recommend you burn 2 candles of the same fragrance, well apart from each other, for better fragrance diffusion.

Before each lighting, cut the wick so that it does not exceed 5 millimetres. Use a special candle wick cutter to avoid scratching the ceramic. 

Use a snuffer to extinguish it, to avoid black smoke and the wick drowning. If necessary, gently re-centre the wick with the side of the wick. your wick cutter or the tip of a knife while the wax is still soft.

Place your HAROLD & MAUDE candle on a flat surface and do not leave it unattended. Avoid draughts.
